The walls are block and very difficult to install anything property so I don't want the renters trying to put up anything themselves. 

You could have pipes in the wall that freeze, so avoid this by keeping it at room temperature.Keep the fridge on.

Hi All, I've come across a duplex with a frustrated seller after a drawn-out FHA deal fell through due to the buyer's financing.

When I toured, a few things I noticed: Blocks, which presumably were used to support the exterior walls, are fallen to the ground.Jack posts had sunk into the dirt floor in spots, and were not supporting floor joists. 

I've done almost everything aside from significant external work--blowing out an exterior wall or adding to the footprint, etc.I appreciate you sharing your insights with me, particularly on list source, etc.
