It's difficult to predict the direction of medium—to long-term mortgage rates, (I feel we will be seeing more inflation over the next few years), so the fixed-rate mortgage is recommended.  

It's priced the way it is because of the added risk exposure.

1031 exchanges have been interesting to me, although, outside of a DST, they still require active management.I received an invitation from a well regarded real estate developer to 1031 exchange into an acquisition they are doing. 

I am a GC evaluating building 3 unit row homes on city owned lots.  Cost to build: $280-$300K, 10 year tax abatement from city.  Has anyone done this?  How did you finance? 

How do you structure an equity payout and how much is enough to entice someone?

He started telling me all the things he thought the listing agent was doing wrong, and even though I didn’t have any business cards on me, it turned into a great opportunity to get my name out there.

Would this just include all LLCs (since all LLCs are corporations), or do they specify an LLC with specific criteria since by corporation they mean non-LLC corporations?

One thing I am hearing is I need to be Lead Based Paint certified, even if only the contractor does all the work.

It would be miserable to me.To each his own.
