The scope of work should be defined by you (or your architect/ designer) and the overhead and profit can be negotiated (mind you will get shoddy work if you negotiate down too much).

So if you see a cool $200 light fixture, and it brings up a $100 light fixture that is almost the same design.

I have taken to some design, material selections so they hold up better and last longer between turns.

Side note example: I have been running a clothing company for the past decade, and I can tell you that there was a few solid years between 2012-2016 where so many newbies came from no where thinking they can start a clothing company just by sticking some basic font on a T-shirt, without understanding any logistics of production, design, distribution, etc.  

If you are doing the design now I would go ahead and incorporate the dishwasher into the design if at all possible.

@Paul Bowers thanks and yeah I know my website is by no means spectacular it's just a basic design from wix.

IE all tile bathrooms.. nice modern cabinets slab grantie .. 3 colors in the house all designer paint etc etc.
