They have a beautiful home on the water that they own and currently live elsewhere and are flat out doing nothing with the property.

New build houses are usually less of a headache for landlords though, just make sure you insure it well in case a tenant trashes your beautiful new house!

Got my first month's rent recently and it is a beautiful thing.  

That trait has been passed on to me, and through that discovery I was able to open a beauty salon with my wife, an internet based collectibles business, and now beginning to invest in real estate while simultaneously working as an agent for Keller-Williams. 

In what would have been me 2nd deal, was a beautiful SFH with some minor foundation issues. 

For example: I have a friend, who has a beautiful 1800 sqf Victorian in a historic district in Atlanta.

There are numerous apartments, a Marriott hotel, dog friendly parks, walking paths, fountains and small "lake", entertainment venues, night clubs, retail, boutiques, yoga, gyms, restaurants and personal care beauty services minutes away, There are many corporate HQ's within a few minutes drive, plus it is on the tollway and 5 minutes from 121.

Just remember to lift your head while climbing and look around at all the beauty that surrounds you.

However, I have adjusted to the heat through the years, and the beautiful spring/fall seasons along with the mild winters, make it all worthwhile to me.  

Now if they takeoff and go back home for the summer and then to come back and they paid everything beautifully the first year then they can stand on their own.
