Very new to the STR investment community but doing everything I can to learn and this biggerpockets blog has been super helpful so I thought I would make my first post.

.: A woman who inherited a home in New York City full of people squatting illegally was arrested and led away in handcuffs after she changed the locks.Adele Andaloro, 47, was placed under arrest at her $1 million home in Flushing, Queens.As the Post further reports, this is the latest such incident - which comes weeks after a couple's plan to move into a $2 million home in Douglaston, Queens with their disabled son was derailed by a squatter who claimed to have an agreement with the previous owner.In another incident, a squatter turned a Rockaways home into a 'house of horrors' with over a dozen emaciated cats and dogs trapped inside.Super unfortunate.

For me, it was posted in 5 days including weekends so it actually took 3 working days.  

Joining Facebook groups (posting properties on Facebook groups as well) and utilizing Furnished Finder, Zillow, Airbnb/VRBO (30+ day stays), insurance placement companies, etc will allow you to maximize profits/property potential and stay nimble. 

As I mentioned in my original post; I am a mortgage broker and I am very careful to present a lender to my potential borrowers as I don't want them to get scammed.

That was until I started noticing the sheer number of "people" on BiggerPockets and STR Facebook groups whose ONLY posts are posts where they talk about how they're a Hostaway user and love it so much.Bots and shills out the wazoo.

The area where I dont have detailed time logs is prospecting / relationship building for my real estate business which is 100% SOI, Social media posts/stories, attending social events, networking events, friend/family events, etc.Side note...we have no kids so time to do both jobs is abundantly available.

Meetup.com is a good resource for those but some of the groups will also post here on Bigger Pockets Marketplace too.

I read your initial post to mean that you wanted to buy out the partner and then create an LLC to reinvest (with you and your father as LLC members).
