However, IMHO since no one yet knows what the new 'normal' will be, or how much the Chinese virus will affect travel and vacations, it is indeed a quandary.However, it seems to me that there will be a LOT of vacancies in general for retail shops, due to many going belly up from the lockdown.

I did pretty well renting out my old apartment in Bellevue when I travelled, and have had great success renting a room in my condo in Lynnwood.

We have a 3 br rental, 1550sq ft, (in FISD convenient to TTU & Medical District), bought for 125K a few years ago, currently rented for 1450/month.
