I do want to buy a little truck to go to the dump though or home depot if I want to do some honeydoo stuff around the house.Once you get used to NEVER going to a gas station and never paying for gas it gets pretty cool. 

Going into an area that is sub-standard can end up as ripe pickings for eminent domain for a fire station, park or other public use project.

For instance, here in Colorado a "no guns" sign is entirely unenforceable at the vast majority of places (excluding places like: primary schools, federal buildings, and places with permanent weapons screening stations).  

@Jessie Nunleyas a side note, I don't know how long you have been stationed in Mountain Home, but I grew up in that area and still visit all the time for family.

I now know that the condo in SD is a really bad rental property investment, however I think it is a smart choice to keep it and live there if I am stationed there again which, I am trying hard to make happen.
