Hi BP community,Has anyone in the Pittsburgh area, specifically serviced by People's Gas, Duq Light or PAWC purchased one of those utility line protection plans and actually had to file a claim?

In that case, certainly get the seller to sort that out first or you could have a headache.The property management company that I like and trust never hold you to such obligations from the start, they operate with the highest quality of service and basically maintain that if you don't like them you don't need to work with them.

Once she dies, you will have an appreciated asset that you're free to sell or put in service as a rental.

Most "trash collection services" look pretty heavy duty for my puny apartment building.  

Other going to try rent without remodel if management gets done with other unit I will have them start this one.Called Laundry service- They provide 2 washers and dry and maintain and I get a small cut, plus I provide water and electric.

I haven't personally used any of their property management services as of yet, but met with all of them and they have good reviews.

After we purchased the building, she never cleaned the building, so we cancelled her service and asked her to sign a letter, stating if she didn't move out by end of May last year, she will pay $650 for her rent.

She is claiming it is a service dog in training. 

That way you can legally receive compensation for your services and better yet, you’re well positioned to list/buy properties for family/friends going forwards.
