Any resources out there on how to invest in RE through self directed IRA much appreciated!

Hey BP fam, i currently have a self loan through my own personal bank to help establish some credit now should i wait till its paid off to get a secured credit or should i get one already and also should i get another personal loan through another bank to build credit as well?

You can look into self-directed IRA loans and that might suit your needs.But to many people's surprise, you don't always need the huge downpayment to get in the game.

A Bank statement loan is used primarily for a self-employed and will require 12-24 months of business or personal bank statements.

I chose that major because I wanted to learn as much about real estate as I could; several self-help books convinced me that real estate was the best way to build wealth for the average person.

I am all for self sufficiency , but IMO many low wage folks were screwed during the pandemic ...

If you plan to do any updates to the property you could have that conversation with them, let them know that the rent will be going up because of that and they may self terminate.

We are currently looking about 2.5-3 hrs away.Is it feasible to self-manage and not be there?
