Some people keep a locked cabinet in their STR which is full of the normal consumable supplies (bath soap, dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, azz wipe, light bulbs).

Hmmmm, Hmmmm, Hmmmm, can't seem to come up with a single instance, but give me the entire weekend and I am sure I will come up with something.Let me think the last time a cop harassed me. 17 car stops WITHOUT A SINGLE CITATION, ie, your tail light is dim, you tags expire NEXT MONTH, you were going 7 MPH over the speed limit (72 in a 65 zone on a lonely highway with no traffic passing us the entire time we were stopped),etc...Overall, cops have an attitude that just rubs me the wrong way.

You still get the light and the vent opening eliminates the need to add a bath fan per code- at least around here.

One other point I have is to make sure the bathroom has a good proper sized exhaust fan, steam moisture does more damage then anything, I also try to have the overhead light wired with the fan so when light is on, so is fan, saves those tenants who cant get the point of the fan or that it actually needs to be turned on to work.My home bath I installed a push button timer switch that has different settings ( 10,20,30 etc) saves the kids from leaving it run all the time.
