That isn't really that much money .Sometimes people are legitimately on section 8 for whatever reason.

It's possible to get a construction loan for a legitimate home or prefab/mod on foundation but it's very difficult to find a lender for cabins.

Most legitimate lenders will not as for cash from you or ask you to pay money for the possibility of getting a Loan,  take processing fees unless they are taken out of the loan you are getting.
