If you're a STR owner, do the numbers work for you? 

The owner said that it's due to him living in Florida and visiting 4 times a year, the downturn in the economy, and employee turnover. 

We do this for owners by using the matterport system.

So myself, I stay away from those since I'm not going to be able to buy those creatively using subject to, owner finance or maybe lease option, but instead I would have to buy with cash or bank financing which I avoid.  

Many PMCs charge extra for an Annual Owner Statement that you can take to your tax professional.

We would discover with time that as flawed as credit score algorithms may be, a credit score below 600 meant a diminishing chance our owners were going to be paid.

I bet everything I had and made the owner a good offer.

Most Insurance companies require occupancy by the owner to coverage it with a Homeowners polciy.  

Buying a tax lein is paying the unpaid taxes in return for a guaranteed rate of return from the government until the owner pays the taxes.

Owner financing can be a great option, I have purchased properties that way.
