Many states require a certified bio-hazard team to come and clean up if it was a suicide with bodily fluids involved,(blood from gun shot, cutting etc.) though if it was a hanging or OD a bio-hazard team is generally not required.

It's worked out for me and I don't cut any breaks after the 5th on my late fees because I gave them a more than reasonable grace period.
