@Anil Samuel I had similar issues with Wells Fargo (Also a customer of buyout chain since 1996) and when I applied for a HELOC on a rental, it was totally disorganized and there was no communication.

Couldn't agree more with the things being said.REI is a transactional business and a people business, which means your people skills(communication skills) is the most valuable.I have less than 10 people on my buyers list because all of them understand that I will prioritize them with properties and deals, while they give me reasonable offers where we both win.

So without that pretty pre-approval letter it made it very difficult to look at properties to get numbers to make sure it was a good deal and it was impossible to take action if I did not have said money in hand.Chris's question was to have a business plan to show non REI people to help him with his business and its more than pretty pictures its a professional way to communicate.
