There are a couple of ways the term is used but most of the time when people on BP are referencing the MLS they are talking about a local MLS which is only fully available to real estate agents who are a member of the local real estate association.

{end of EDIT}I was just on the phone with another landlord near me, who has many more rentals and I was commenting to him how he is among the most highly rated landlords in this next website, where tenants rate their landlords:http://whoseyourlandlord.com/landlordsSeems mostly local to my area, but now that it is on BP it could go nationwide faster ...Landlords and PMs would do well to read the comments associated with the reviews of any landlord in that site, especially the lower scoring ones.
