God has a purpose for all and when its to provide "safe, affordable, well maintained housing", that's it!

The reason is that to keep a license you have to maintain a level of legal and ethical standards or else you get in big trouble.

They do this so they can maintain control over who is able to purchase there (it is a christian based organization).  

Once you go a few streets towards fairgrounds it can get more towards the lower renter quality and even poorer quality maintained homes.Maintenance aspect is higher here for these homes though anyways.

Once you get the sheet built it is pretty easy to maintain.  

@Zach AdamsI have always maintained that the best choice for out of state owners is a class A property in a desirable area. 

While my apartments are well maintained and reasonably prices, there still seems to be a lot of tenants that shop around for lower rents and move out at the end of three months.

. :-)   I was going to say... start by having well maintained properties in decent neighborhoods and being a great landlord.
