Once you pick a market connect with an local agent, PM, contractor etc in the area. 

I travel to New York and Los Angeles for capital raising but happy to look at local partnerships.

Having said that, I've only attended the AAPL's conferences, which are pretty much what you'd expect: presentations focused on the state of the market, education for lenders, and new best practices (with some tech thrown in).

Otherwise, check your local laws about storage.Find out how long you have to give him an itemized copy of deductions from his security deposit and return it.
