Thanks for letting me know, I will try to go to the one in October as I have a wedding to attend on that Thursday.  

My contingency period ends Weds 8/28th.

They want offers with proof of funds by Weds at 3pm (about 2 days).

Of course we still have some bills to pay after our wedding, but I’ve got the itch after I bought my first rental property right before the wedding.

I was just listening to a podcast where the guest was saying that any information the property owner volunteers can be considered a "deliberate act" (that is probably not the exact term, but I forget) which allows my insurance carrier to deny any claim.Second, my W2 job is such that I cannot easily miss work, outside of paid vacation (which is scheduled months in advance), I only get 3 personal days per year and I try to reserve those for weddings/funerals/family emergencies.Despite those concerns however, I will probably end up writing the letter. 

Sold both for a nice little profit that paid off my car, wedding and half of my student loan debt.Now we house hack again, and looking at getting a small (4-plex or less) property to begin the adventure on this part of the country.Best of luck on your journey!
