So I see this playing out 1 of 2 ways: - STR operators remain lone wolves, and suffer the consequence of a divided nation; as "fences" eruct to diminish the range and operations, the numbers dwindle until it's a small fringe group subjugated unto the overlords of the industry, content on leaving a small novel number exist. - STR operators UNITE, leverage the collective power and capital in not just $ but also intelligence, speed, insight, legal and lobbying actions.

But my point is that if you were to take from the 20% that make the biggest contributions in every field and make sure that the bottom 80% got paid relatively the same or had the same benefits, it would likely diminish the drive of the top 20% and they would produce a lot less and it would not motivate the bottom 80% to do any more than what the do currently.
