It is not your responsibility to house this person's items indefinitely in your rental. 

But when it's equity gains, no tax, only at time of sale and if you 1031 Uncle Sam let's you continue to use that tax-$ for investing purposes.

You want an accountant who can help you strategize and who is responsive when you want to know the consequences of the financial decisions you are making throughout the year.Good luck.

U have to find developments that are purpose built for investors..

If they fail to comply, you may need to involve legal counsel or contact your state’s real estate commission.Hire a Reliable Manager: Finding a professional, responsive property manager is key.

If they say "No" then ask them to support that with documentation to avoid a boiler plate response.
