From here, assuming you get pre approval for a new construction loan, moving into a cheap rental would be one option- I would be cautious of where if you have school age children; in some districts the mailing address must match the home address for the children to attend the same schools as now, and I doubt you would want your tenant receiving anything from the school as it pertained to your children in terms of privacy if you tired to get around this by listing current address as home and mailing address.

We certainly want to give her family the privacy and respect they deserve, and we don’t want anyone to feel like we are rushing anything.

Will apps like Deal Machine do that with the privacy laws here in California?

They offer a lot of privacy and a feeling of seclusion, which is something that many people love, especially if they have families or simply enjoy being alone.

We choose this particular one because the neighborhood is perfectly set up for it & already had existing STR's in it, the layout & size were ideal & the private pool is not just out your living room door but is actually private as no one is behind us & the sides are walled off which we thought the additional privacy would make it more attractive.

Adding to this is the privacy from a master bedroom split-floor plan, so the other two bedrooms are across the house.

Some aspects I am considering are:- Plan 1 provides complete privacy for all 5 bedrooms while Plan 2 has entryway into new master suite from the office suite.

You may be able to use a PO box for privacy, and that's what most individuals would do. 

@Marshall Henry  looks like he is treating it like his front door despite it being your back. suggest to Put up a privacy fence/ block it from his side or lose the dumpster.   

You and your fiancé still get to maintain your privacy and you can maximize rental income by operating your airbnb with no minimum stay!!!!
