This prescription seems tone deaf at best.

Hi BiggerPockets landlords,Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I'm a 26 y/o Fortune 500 software developer who is moving to Austin, TX.I have:- a senior engineering position at my company that I've held for the last few years- a 6 figure income- excellent credit- excellent references- no petsMy one problem is that 6 years ago, when I was a teenager in college, I was charged with possession of Xanax without a prescription.

How about people that abuse drugs or alcohol? 

There is also the issue of Prescriptive Easements which may give them the future right if they have had the right for a certain amount of time.

I haven't found much of value after a move out or an eviction (well, my son and I once found a packet of what we assumed were drugs and I suppose the tenant would have found that of value but we presented the stuff to our local police instead) but I am a big one on recycling intact furniture to our local Habitat and Catholic Social Services organizations to avoid good stuff ending up in the landfill and donating canned goods to our local soup kitchen. 

A place where drugs and crime are high.

I am always surprised when people want to sue drug companies because the effect was not what they expected. 

We are identifying non-profits to contribute to that help people who are drug-addicted and homeless since we are not equipped to serve them properly through our real estate investing.
