Make sure who ever puts in the vent system that they do not use the flex-tube accordion style venting pipe it is not code and you need the solid sheet metal style tube put in, and must be taped with the correct silver heat tape not duct tape.

Special attention needs to be paid to the vintage ( year built ) of the property because older properties tend to have multiple things you have to watch out for ( lead based paint, knob and tube wiring, unpermitted additions and updates, asbestos, galvanized plumbing, etc.).

Depends too on how old the place is, the wiring runs may be sized to 60 amp service, 14/2 maybe, got knob and tube?
