I’m looking to get started at using my people and negotiation skills in the market fully, I’m hunting for properties in the UK that can be hidden gems or fixer uppers, with a keen eye for architecture and a clear understanding of value and use I’m thoroughly analysing websites and in person sites for good deals.

I'm not sure what group you have your eye on, but I know that Michael and Elizabeth Chang has one of the best STR arbitrage groups out there!

I wonder how involved would I still have to be if I hired representation?

I'm struggling to find a good example that doesn't involve shared laundry.  

The local branch manager got involved, couldn't understand what I was explaining either, didn't want to admit it, and got defensive and shut down when I tried having my attorney explain it to her in a different way.

They both involve sourcing deals.  

These have a much higher CoC ranging from 18-30% depending on how involved you are, the property specific and its execution from a design/amenity standpoint to management.  

Just keep an eye on how both markets are performing, and maybe start small, like taking out $50k, so you can test the waters without over-leveraging.

@Roger Garner the strategy will really depend on what level of involvement you want in the project.

The government does not want you to have any day-to-day involvement in the investment.
