Tenants and property management are not as terrible as people make it out to be and the returns that strangers on the internet claim to be pulling in are exaggerated.

You go visit them, let them know you're serious. 99.9% of the people in the other city just think you're a fugazi, huffing & puffing from across the internet. 

My biggest advice is to not use a financial planner, everything you need is on the Internet for free.

I imagine Airbnb (the company) has their own wifi.Wifi router just takes the incoming internet signal from a modem (cable or otherwise) unless you have a combo unit.If you have a hardwired incoming internet cable then you can use almost any wifi device.

Stay local and don't ask for funding and think only nice people will try to help on the internet.
