For my CPA SMEs - I guess it's probably late now, but (assuming the bill passes) how did you advise your clients on the proposed retroactive changes to the bonus depreciation for 2023 - from 80% back to 100% - did you advise to file extensions or amend next year or something else?

This led to a glowing review of the property and landlord (me) and an extension of the stay.

I think it's $400.It's an extensive course and requires a decent time commitment but I would start there and use their templates.

We encourage all members to file extensions for their personal tax returns, because we just don't know when each joint LLC will receive K1s.

Meaning if someone gives you $500k and you only are using $100k, you are still going to be paying some fees on the $400k because the lender needs to keep that cash on the sidelines.You are better off getting either DSCR loans for each or hard money at 12 months and interest only with extensions but realize that money will not be cheap. 

An extension is just an extension of time to file, not to pay.
