I don't think it would kill the feel of a remote as long as people aren't getting lit up just sitting on the back deck, just make sure you have it set on motion detector mode.

You may get caught and if you do the code violations guy that comes out will take dim view of you skirting the law.

When I found this community it lit a fire under me to learn anything and everything I could about real estate investing.

I ended up not getting cut, but I was on the path and the fire was lit.
