Other things to have in your screening criteria are things like no evictions in x amount of years, details about criminal background, etc.

He did not explain (1) how his mother was involved; (2) if the subpoena was part of a civil or criminal investigation (he implied criminal); or (3) whether the subpoena had anything to do with wholesaling.

I just found out that the prosecutor's office is not going to pursue because they don't feel it's a criminal matter. 

All the contractors in here complaining about investors need to go back and read the first post.This isn't about some cheap investor trying to squeeze every penny out of some poor contractor.This is about the huge number of lazy, unmotivated, and sometimes criminal people who call themselves "contractors".

Just make sure you do all the due diligence, income, eviction history, criminal history, etc.
