I have been here for 5 years and in just that short time have seen Oceanside BOOM!

Obviously Lacy Lakeview isn't exactly booming but there is industry in the area (not counting L3 and I'm not really wanting to lease to TSTC students unless they have a family) but I have the opportunity to invest in some homes there.

I concede it bothers me that’s where property is at in my neighborhood but it’s either buy now before the boom or probably not at all.

I think it is easy to get sucked into the reports saying Tampa is one of the biggest booming real estate markets in the country and leave the place you know.  

live where you want to live but invest where the number make sense (the Real Estate Guys radios are the ones who always says so), I do love Miami but also Orlando is booming, As an agent, you can make a good living in any area, you need to love where you are, I do invest in Miami area and other states

I'm hesitant to put anything into the market right now because of how high everything has been - but ATL is also at (or close to) the height of the real estate boom as well so I'm anxious about overpaying for anything.

Seems like CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ and atleast the cities i know to look for have booming REI and numbers arent making sense.
