And the majority of our country seems to support this kind of behavior.I'm not insensitive to the fact people are laid off, some are sick, some have relatives that are sick, some just finished a bout of chemo and didn't get the chance to catch their breath before this thing hit, some just lost a husband, some just lost a limb to diabetes and can't get back to work, some just ran away from an abusive or drug-addicted spouse, etc.

Don't bet your investment based on hope things will quickly turn around.From friends in China who do have large STR holdings, they do following:1) Convert some to long term rentals2) Work with local governments/hospitals to use for isolation units for front line workers, patients who needs isolation, government funded shelters (domestic abuse, etc.)- Generally there is large rise in divorce and domestic abuse cases now3) SELL if possibleThey also found that STRs in large cities are doing extremely poorly, while those near drivable vacation places seems to be back near normal.
