As a start, J Scott's Book on Flipping Houses, David Green's Long Distance Real Estate Investing book, and a lot of time spent looking at pictures of other people's rehab projects (on Deal Diaries here, or Instagram, or wherever).

It will just be a country wide, world wide, social media/mass media educational public service announcement, one blog post, facebook update, Twitter update, instagram photo, youtube video at a time. 

I've found depending on your age group millennial and younger FB ads works pretty good, you can combine FB ads with Instagram for cross-platform ads.
