I'm piloting a new construction program that's building a generational style home 6 bedroom 4 bathroom, 2500 sq ft house in a class B/C area.

I suspect the builder has crappy credit and can't get approved on their own.Also, as a former banker myself, local banks aren't generally interested in financing new construction on this size of project or a builder that doesn't have extensive experience in these type of builds, in my opinion. 

That certificate would show open taxes, water, housing violations, citations, condemnations, receiverships, construction liens and other municipal liens.

I actually interned for a company in Iowa City that did real estate, property management, new home construction and development.

This method allows them to rehab multiple properties at the same time then the construction contractor sells them at market value to a buyer.

I am wanting to connect or shadow with interior designers, decorators, or even project managers, just so I can get my foot in the door and understand all aspects of a construction process. 

I’m still learning about the process but a Construction-to-Permanent looks attractive if owner-occupied terms could apply.
