I have experience in tech sales, so that is something I feel like I can do.

By this I mean if Amazon's HQ2 had miraculously ended up in Detroit, or if the Big 3 end up revolutionizing autonomous vehicles and manufacturing + tech jobs increase significantly in the city.

I have been with the same tech company for the last 15 years and have been raised to believe that building wealth towards retirement is done by saving, investing in my 401k and buying a house to settle down in.
