And How did you overcome it?

Not going to college creates more barriers and less opportunities...... now with the right person, those obstacles can be overcome and quite successfully.... but it takes the right person.

Sounds like a problem that can be overcome pretty easily through a meeting of minds.

In this case, however, you still won't be able to get an appraisal because you still aren't 'legally' able to access the property during the escrow...further, the prior homeowner or tenant may still be occupying the property and in this case they can be very adverse, require legal eviction, etc.  

Defects to title can be overcome two ways, either obtaining a satisfactory document from the proper party or through legal action resulting in court order.  

What would the toughest things to overcome?

The worst thing is I have about 50% of the down payment already.Tell me what you think, is this smart, stupid, are there creative ways to overcome this?

While we have some disadvantages as younger investors they can be easy to overcome with some creativity.

There are definitely many obstacles to overcome to even find a property, let alone buy one.

If so, how do I overcome this?
