I noticed a house on my block hasn’t had anyone in it the duration of my time in my home.

Hi guys, do I have to notice if I want to do work outside my rental property, like killing weeds or fixing up the landscaping, etc...

However, now that I know it's a thing I've noticed similar cracks in plenty of other surrounding homes. 

How much notice should the tenant give if they want to stay longer than a month?

I've noticed that what most people consider a risk or something very risky, I consider something fun to do and give a shot at, even if it could screw your whole life over.

The first thing to do when you're not paid rent is to send a Notice To Quit/Cure. 

Not only are there fewer friends this way, but it takes much longer to get to where you want to go.Trying to ride just one bus, and expecting to get to that magical destination, is hard and expensive...and you as you notice all those other buses that pass you as you walk, you start rationalizing that they are too expensive to ride, and they all are probably going to the wrong destinations,...even the ones that are clearly marked that are going to where you want to go.Second, the answer to your main question, is "both".

I'm fairly sure that landlords are able to give notice to evict if their intent is to sell, however the California legislature has added the caveat that the buyer must occupy and not use as a rental.

(My inspector was garbage but that's a different issue)The appraiser if they had noticed a damaged floor when walking through, could potentially have made that an FHA issue, but since it was only revealed when you started to renovate I doubt they would have.

The roof in this property is my main concern with it being slate and I noticed it had a couple of loose tiles.
