That is truly a great mentality to have, knowing that hey this can work if both of us work together to achieve a win-win solution for all!

Some policies consider mental anguish to be bodily injury and others do not.  

Another mental block for me is I'm trying to think of places that I, personally, wouldn't mind living and I know I need to stop thinking that way. 

@Alex CraigI see the other side of this as a mental health therapist.

Both me and mother suffer from mental illness but we pay are rent every 5th of the month.

Contractors flat out have way more experience than them and this is another way to engage with them with a partnership mentality.

It isn't all about the nuts and bolts of multifamily investing, one of the other areas of focus is on mental and family health, and that has helped me on a personal level more than I can explain in a forum post. 

Allows me to see a lot of the shifts in the market as they happen as well as the broader investor mentality and capability.

Everything on a building has a finite life and will need to be replaced some day.I also have to complement you on your mental toughness - most people would have given up long before and you kept pushing for solutions and ultimatley were able to break even!

Margins on REI are always going to be on a downward trend as the herd mentality shifts around from market to market and from investment type to investment type.I see great opportunities now and I'm trying to acquire as much as possible within the next 8 years because it won't stay that way here.
