On average, this means that the veterans being assisted have poorer rental histories and are more likely to have fixed incomes, on average older, are more likely to be single persons, and have higher physical and mental health needs than the average Section 8 tenant.Now, all of this sounds like a great recipe for an awful tenant experience.
