If you don't have the cash to purchase a larger multi family your best bet would be to purchase in some type of group funding.

The official term for SEC8 is the Housing Choice Voucher - with choice being the operative word.  

And even though that is the case I would still like to perform analysis on some big properties when I come across them so it will help me in the future.So...anyone have any ideas on a ballpark cost for waste removal and any other costs associated with a larger unit property that may not exist with a 2-4 unit property.

Neighborhood went heavily minority but I think there's renewed interest in it as most people who have owned those homes with larger lots are going to the grave before they sell -- I wanted to move in that neighborhood pretty bad but could never find the right deal. 

As for rooting against the home team, that is a personal choice. 

The larger is currently rented for $550 and the smaller one for $500.

This gives you huge upside to make a larger paycheck in shorter hours worked.

They will still be in sfh and larger multi.  

It's inflated, and in the case of larger scale commercial units, the most valuable information is what it CURRENTLY does, not what it COULD do.

Neither choice seems like a mistake.
