If you are attempting to sway people in power who may wake up and fix the system, I am not sure this is the ideal venue for that.If you are so down on the area, you should probably change your investing but I am just not sure why you are so intent on spreading the doom.

The intent is to minimize the amount of assets that can be seized, by segregating your assets, in the event that one of your properties incurs liability in an amount greater than that assets value or any insurance covering the asset.At the end of the day, what you need is legal advise which can only be given by a lawyer.

Say for instance, one purchased a property (not like what Al wants to do) with the intent to flip it but for what ever reason, they still had it for 2 months then turned it into a rental that rented for 6mo or a yr, then were able to sell it afterward.
