I've looked into SOFI and refinancing but I'm not sure if that's possible since I'm actually paying down the 75k in student loans that are under my parent's name (they took out the loans during undergrad and I'm paying the loans down after I became employed).If you don't mind, could you recommend the best way to find a multi-family/duplex to "hack"?

I'm pretty inexpensive (about half compared to typical small firms) because I also work full time as an attorney, and merely practice on the side to assist with my real estate deals and pay down law school debt (which is mortgage-sized), but I'm also very good (graduated with honors, guest lecturer, published papers, etc).

I'm also employed full time as a marketing executive in the medical device industry; real estate is a passion and pursuit but isn't my j-o-b.Near my investment properties is a 37-unit with paved off-street parking lot, combined with a few rental houses that are adjacent to it.
