LLCs are meant to limit recourse against assets held by LLC to just those assets.  

I just meant the smaller family run company with a few hundred units, as opposed to the institutional outfits or the syndicators.

Maybe I am wrong about that since I was not personally investing while in 2nd grade.This is not meant to be a political post, but just curious for some of you who have been around for a while?

An LLC is meant to separate the owner for liability purposes.

I wanted to transfer my net proceeds (sans gains and cost seg recapture) but it wasn’t meant to be I guess :(

Although you could not see the inside of the house at time of auction, you could see that both units were occupied and had the lights on, which meant to me I could bid up to around $110,000 and still make out alright.
