Drywall 5000 - doors 75 each, cabinets 10 x 10 kitchen - 1500 - 3000, Countertop (laminate) - 300-500, fixtures - 1000, floors (carpet - 14 sq/yd, hardwood 2.50-3 sq/ft - int paint - 1500-3000, ext paint 1500-3000Not looking at anything custom, but a standard finish.Roof and siding are newer and may just need some minor repairs. - 1500-2000

to ease his concerns for allergies and air quality, i paid to have the old carpets in the first floor removed (they were there for 20 years)i am removing all the drop ceiling tiles and insulation in the second floor and installing new sheetrock throughout the second floor (close to 80 sheets or rock).

He basically thinks that anything that requires more than paint and some new carpet is a no-go and he keeps waiting for that 2 story mansion on auction for a $5K tax lien that no one else bids on, and refers back to that time a few years ago when the house across the street from him sold for $1,100 at a tax sale.
