. - As others have said age of a home is less important than how well it has been maintained or what the context of your purchase, price, expertise, team, etc are you bring to the table.

Put them all at the dining room table, have them help each other, have them shout for an adult if they can't figure something out.  

If you want to do something with a property in the CSprings area and you have something that works by all means look me up I will fall in with you if the numbers work, and I will bring more to the table than money I have several local Zoomy friends,  10 properties in 5 states, I have always done my own GC and a RE license in Texas. 

If you think of it one day that will be your property would you like to know before buying that there is a Ted Bundy living there.So go disturb them but in a smart way, it’s my money and I’m buying real estate not chips for the poker table. 

I have watched agents recommend a seller to give up a better offer by (Insert Online mortgage company) because they have been at closing tables and "the bank" never showed up or communication was horrid. 

I found a house that I like and meets pretty much all of my criteria and well inside my price range ($87,500) 2B 1 1/2B and 2 car garage with room for a pool table :).

I've done some on patios by the pool (the wife stayed at least 20 ft. away from me the entire time, and her husband was the go-between, picking up the clipboard for me to pass, signing what he needed to sign, then walking over to her to get her signature.... more time intensive, but it worked), some in parking lots with a card table & lawn chairs, and one on the patio of a multi-million dollar home by the beach.

You have a substantial amount in cash that could go a long way with a flip that would turn a much better profit and much faster but with more risk on the table.

Possibly have to bring all cash to the table/not able to do FHA loan?
