There will be more layoffs, more bankruptcies, more companies fold, and more money printed than at any time in history.The stimulus was just a quick run out to get everything they wanted politically in one quick swoop, all while making Americans feel it was all in their best interest, and giving them false hope that Uncle Sam is coming to the rescue.This is "Politics 101"While unfortunate, It is my honest opinion that we can not rebuild all of this until it completely burns down.

Perhaps you've heard some rumblings from the tens of millions of Americans complaining since 9/11/01 that our freedoms have been dwindling at the hands of a government that is trying to convince us that it's important for American citizens to give up some of their freedom in return for "security" (a sense of security to some, perhaps, but certainly no real security).Unfortunately, too many people have been so scared of "the terrorists" for 9 years now that they've been happy to give up their rights -- or worse yet, haven't even realized they been doing it, as clearly you haven't realized it until now.Who do you think was responsible for the action in the article you linked?
