@Jaki Gandara for private lenders, be sure have a due dilligence package for your deal.

It is not.If your lender, be it a large HML at a fancy address or your Aunt Edna, is wise and acting professionally they will have a loan documentation package that includes a 1003 URLA or equivalent that requests your financial info, including a SSN. 

I have a local commercial lender who created a lending package specifically for our needs.

Getting $5,000-$10,000 for a private lender will take forever to save up as we have 5 children who eat that much money in food a month, (so it seems).
