Do any of you use credit cards to pay for rehab projects? 

That being said, I HAVE been greeted at the door with a shotgun.

If the loan from the long-term lender is less than the payoff amount of the original short-term lender (because you didn't estimate the ARV correctly), then you'll have to bring money to the closing table for the refinance.If it's a line of credit (credit cards, a HELOC on your primary, etc), there won't be an "automatic" payoff, so you'll just use the cash you get from the refinance to pay it off yourself.

Just like a credit card, you don't have a payment unless you pull out the cash.

I don't have a credit card linked to this account, but I'm not too concerned about missing out on the reward points or 1.5% cash back on the $1000 or so I have in expenses a year.

Reminds be of credit card hacking and award travel, but at least I perceive it to have a bit more risk and am getting a bit of analysis by paralysis. 

I have a credit card for each property and link that credit card to the checking account that goes with it.
