Now, there is less than half the inventory it takes to have a balanced market (one that favors neither buyer nor seller).

It appears that many landlords are unaware of how to stay out of costly County Court after a tenant appeals a Justice Court (JP Small Claims court) judgment in the landlord's favor. 

Treat like a normal tenant and do not give any favors.

I would be curious to know if this is something that's gaining popularity or if anyone sees signs in favor/ not in favor of this as a growing trend.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m in favor of them as investments, but I would go for used ones that aren’t too old in nice condition.
