They are just shady and completely without the ability to care about anything except their bottom line.A buddy of mine told me she was doing work for Brian in exchange for rent concessions.

I have a buddy that has one with a well and it sounds like the EPA is driving him nuts so I'd kind of like to avoid that. we were able to fix the well issue.. but septic system was old and bad and new rules necessitated 250k to redo the whole system up to modern code..  30 miles out of INdy.

You will just have non-gun or anti-gun renters.Personally, I invite my better tenants to my house once a month to shoot clays and then have beer/meat with my hunting buddies.

When my buddies refer to me as "Slumlord" I simply correct them and say; "Ya, Slumlord Millionaire".

Not only rent out the other units, I would rent out the other rooms in my unit to buddy room-mates. 

But I went electric Tesla's  my buddies that have Ferraris etc those 5k tune ups I was not having that .. my model S has never been to the shop in 2 years never bought gas .. so when you factor in the tax credit its a pretty cool ride. plus they are faster than most super cars 0 to 60..
