I'm interested in investing in Idaho, but I have zero experience with Idaho taxes (or state income tax at all for that matter).Questions:I've heard that property taxes in Idaho are higher for out of state owners vs. residents (i.e. a house could cost $2K in annual taxes for a resident, but may be $3K for an out-of-state owner).

Sounds like they are in a pretty good situation unless taxes and insurance costs are going to eat heavily into cash flow or the properties all need cap x improvements and they would rather sell than fix them up.I would have buyers for these if that is what they are looking for.

Are they providing a fair service, or do they encourage boosting claims in ways that may inflate the payout beyond what the insured would normally pay (+ the 35% Metro PA would want in markup for their slice)?
