Very similar to both all three of the areas you mentioned in prices and rents (with Chambersburg being slightly less in prices). 

Of course not to mention investors (large and foreign).In 2018 alone average home prices in SF have risen by 200k reaching 1.6million, crazy when you think of how fast interest rates have risen during the same time.

I thought that was good info from @Rick Bassett but I was a little confused by the conclusion that is was barely worth it when you consider the extra work.You didn't detail or even mention in your post how much extra work or what that entails.
